Who’s the NFL MVP for 2022?

We’re already looking ahead to next year’s NFL MVP and there are a few frontrunners emerging. Who do you think will take home the prestigious award in 2022?

Tom Brady

Tom Brady has been the NFL MVP for 6 years in a row and he is showing no signs of slowing down. He is the quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he is one of the best players in the league. Some people might say that he is past his prime, but he is still playing at a high level.

His age

Tom Brady is an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He is widely considered to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and has won eleven NFL MVP awards, the most all-time by a quarterback. He is also one of only two players in NFL history to win seven Super Bowls, and he currently holds the record for most Super Bowl wins by a quarterback with ten. Brady has also been selected to fourteen Pro Bowls and has led his team to more division championships than any other quarterback in NFL history.

Brady was born on August 3, 1977, in San Mateo, California. He attended Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, where he played football and baseball. Brady played college football for the University of Michigan from 1995 to 1999. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Brady spent his first four seasons as a backup quarterback before taking over as the Patriots’ starting quarterback in 2001 after an injury to then-starter Drew Bledsoe.

Brady led the Patriots to twelve Zendaya consecutive division titles and ten consecutive conference championship games between 2001 and 2018, becoming the first and only quarterback ever to accomplish that feat. He also led them to victory in Super Bowls XXXVI (2001), XXXVIII (2003), XXXIX (2004), XLIX (2014), LI (2016), LIII (2018), and LV (2021). Brady has been named Super Bowl MVP four times, winning MVP honors in Super Bowls XXXVI, XXXVIII, XLIX, and LI. He is one of only three players ever to win league MVP and Super Bowl MVP honors multiple times (the others being Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana).

His stats

In his career, Brady has played in 41 postseason games, completing 1,005 of 1,561 attempts for 11,179 yards, 73 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions, all NFL records. He also holds the record for most playoff wins (30), appearances (ten), and starts by a quarterback (ten). He has appeared in more playoff games than any other player at any other position in NFL history. Brady has led his team to more division championships (16) than any other quarterback in NFL history. He is one of only two quarterbacks to lead a team to five Super Bowls (the other being Charles Haley), and he is the only player to win five Super Bowls as well as the Super Bowl MVP award four times (an award which he shares with Bradshaw and Joe Montana).

Drew Brees

Drew Brees is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. He has great accuracy and arm strength. He is also a very mobile quarterback.

His age

Drew Brees will be 41 years old when the 2022 NFL season starts.

His stats

Drew Brees is, first and foremost, a pocket passer. He is not going to beat you with his legs (4.8 career yards per carry), but he will pick you apart with his arm if you give him time in the pocket. And that’s precisely what has made him one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL history.

Over the course of his 20-year career, Brees has thrown for 80,358 yards and 571 touchdowns. He’s completed 68.3 percent of his passes and thrown for over 5,000 yards in a season an NFL-record 11 times. He’s also a two-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year (2008 and 2011) and was named Super Bowl MVP following the Saints’ victory in Super Bowl XLIV.

Aaron Rodgers

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the NFL MVP for the 2022 season. He’s had an incredible season, throwing for 4,900 yards and 50 touchdowns. Rodgers has also been clutch in the playoffs, leading the Packers to the NFC Championship game.

His age

Rodgers is currently 36 years old. He was born on December 2, 1983, in Chico, California. He is the son of Edward Wesley Rodgers and Darla Leigh Pittman. His parents divorced when he was a kid, and he would later spend time with both his father and his stepfather, David Elliot. Rodgers has a brother, Luke, and a sister, Jordan. He also has three half-siblings from his father’s second marriage.

Rodgers was a star quarterback in high school. He played for Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, California. During his senior year, he was named the Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year and the Cal-Hi Sports State Player of the Year. He was also named to the USA Today All-USA high school football team. Rodgers originally intended to play college football at the University of Illinois.

His stats

In his first season as the Packers’ starter, Rodgers led the team to a 13-3 record and was named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. He continued to improve in his second season, ranking fourth in the league in touchdown passes (28) and passer rating (102.4). Rodgers helped the Packers win 15 games in 2011, tied for the most in team history, and earn a first-round bye in the playoffs. In 2012, he led the NFL with a 108.0 passer rating, becoming just the second player in league history to post a rating of over 100 in back-to-back seasons (Steve Young was the other).
