Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bean Bryant (/ˈkoʊbiː/ KOH-bee; born August 23, 1978) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He entered the NBA directly from high school, and played for 20 seasons. Bryant is an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, and 12-time member of the All-Defensive team. He led the NBA in scoring during two seasons, and ranks fourth on both the league’s all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring lists. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.
Dirk Nowitzki
Dirk Nowitzki is currently the oldest player in the NBA, having recently celebrated his 40th birthday. He is also one of the tallest players in the league, measuring in at 7 feet tall. Nowitzki has been a member of the Dallas Mavericks since 1998 and is the franchise’s all-time leading scorer. He is a 13-time NBA All-Star and was named the NBA Most Valuable Player in 2007. In 2011, Nowitzki led the Mavericks to their first NBA Championship.
Vince Carter
At 41 years old, Vince Carter is the oldest player in the NBA. He’s also one of the league’s most experienced players, with 22 seasons under his belt. Carter is currently in his first season with the Atlanta Hawks, and is averaging 7.4 points per game.
Jason Terry
Jason Terry is currently the oldest player in the NBA. He was born on September 15, 1977, making him 42 years old. Terry signed with the Milwaukee Bucks in February of 2020 after spending the previous season with the Houston Rockets. He played college basketball for Arizona before being drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 1999. Terry has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics, and Brooklyn Nets. He is a two-time NBA champion, winning with the Mavericks in 2011 and the Celtics in 2008.
Jamal Crawford
Jamal Crawford is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the University of Michigan, before being drafted eighth overall in the 2000 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He is currently the oldest player in the NBA.
