Zion Williamson (born July 6, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for one season with the Duke Blue Devils, winning several national awards. He is considered one of the greatest amateur players of all time.
Williamson was selected first overall by the Pelicans in the 2019 NBA draft. In his first season, he was unanimously selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.

In June 2018, he was selected with the third overall pick in the NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks, but his rights were immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Doncic made his NBA debut on October 17, 2018, and became the youngest player in league history to record a triple-double. He went on to be named Rookie of the Year for the 2018-19 season.
