Peyton Manning is a retired American football quarterback who played 18 seasons in the National Football League, primarily with the Indianapolis Colts. Considered to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, he spent 14 seasons with the Colts and was a member of the Denver Broncos in his final four seasons. Manning is the only quarterback to win Super Bowls with two different teams.
During his time with Indianapolis, Manning helped turn around a struggling Colts franchise that had posted a 2–14 record in 1997, the year before he was drafted first overall out of Tennessee. In his first season, Manning was named NFL Rookie of the Year as he set then-rookie records for most passing yards (3,739), touchdown passes (26) and interceptions (28). He continued his remarkable string of performances throughout his career, winning five more MVP awards – more than any other player in NFL history – and leading Indianapolis to 11 playoff appearances between 2000 and 2010.

Drew Brees is a professional American football quarterback for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He had a record-breaking career at Purdue University, where he was recognized as a consensus All-American and won the Big Ten Conference Offensive Player of the Year Award in 2000. The San Diego Chargers selected him with the first pick in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He left college as one of the most decorated players in Purdue Boilermakers football history, holding school records for touchdowns, passing yards, and total offensive yards. As of 2019, he remains among the top five players in passing yards and touchdown passes.
Brees has been selected to 12 Pro Bowls and was named Super Bowl XLIV MVP after leading the Saints to victory over the Indianapolis Colts 31–17. He has led New Orleans to nine playoff appearances, six NFC South division championships, one NFC Championship appearance, and Super Bowl XLIV. In 2010, Brees became the first player in NFL history to throw for more than 5,000 yards in a season.
