In the early hours of Saturday morning (Feb. 29), Baton Rouge police responded to a shooting outside the Cypress Bayou Casino in Charenton, Louisiana. When they arrived, they found one man dead and two others wounded.

Witnesses told police that the shooter fled the scene in a car with several other people. A description of the vehicle was broadcast over police radio, and within minutes, cops spotted a car matching that description and began pursuing it.

The chase ended when the car crashed into a utility pole, and the people inside tried to run away. Police were able to apprehend four of the five people in the car; NBA Youngboy (born Kentrell Gaulden) was one of them.
