Will Braun Strowman return to WWE? That’s the question on everyone’s mind after he was injured at the hands of Brock Lesnar.
Braun Strowman’s WWE Career
Braun Strowman is one of WWE’s most popular superstars. He has had a successful career thus far, and has been a fan favorite for many years. Braun Strowman is currently signed to WWE, but his contract is set to expire soon. It is unknown whether or not he will renew his contract with WWE.
His early days in WWE
Braun Strowman, real name Adam Scherr, was first spotted by WWE scouts while he was competing in strongman competitions. He made his WWE debut in 2015 as a member of the Wyatt Family. He soon established himself as a dominant force in the ring, using his 6’8″, 385-pound frame to destroy opponents.
In 2017, Strowman broke out on his own, winning the Universal Championship at WWE Fastlane. He held the title for 34 days before losing it to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33.
Strowman has continued to be a fan favorite in recent years, winning the 2018 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match and feuding with top stars like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
His rise to prominence
Braun Strowman is a professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE. He was previously signed to WWE’s developmental brand NXT, where he was one-half of the tag team The Wyatt Family.
Strowman made his main roster debut on the Raw brand in 2015 as a member of The Wyatt Family. Since then, he has gone on to have a successful singles career, becoming a one-time Universal Champion and two-time Intercontinental Champion.

The extent of his injury
Braun Strowman was injured on the Oct. 7 episode of Raw when he was attacked from behind by The Fiend. Strowman then took a sickening slam through the announce table, which caused him to land awkwardly on his shoulder/neck area.
The next day, WWE confirmed that Strowman had suffered a “serious” injury and would be sidelined indefinitely.
During WWE’s earnings call on Oct. 29, Vince McMahon said that Strowman was still injured and they didn’t know when he would be back.
On Nov. 11, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that while Braun Strowman’s injury isn’t as bad as initially feared, it is still “pretty bad.”
His surgery and recovery
Braun Strowman underwent successful surgery on Monday to repair a torn meniscus, WWE announced.
Strowman suffered the injury during a six-man tag team match on Sunday’s Raw when he botched a running powerslam attempt on Big Show through a ringside table. Big Show landed on top of Strowman’s leg, hyperextending it in an awkward way.
Strowman limped to the back with the help of officials and did not return to the match. He was later helped to the locker room by WWE personnel.
Will Braun Strowman Return to WWE?
On May 22, 2020, Braun Strowman was scheduled to face off against WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, at WWE Money in the Bank. However, the match was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, fans have been wondering if Braun Strowman will return to WWE.
The possibility of his return
Currently, Braun Strowman is not signed with WWE. His contract expired on March 1, 2020 and he has yet to sign a new one.
