Will Paige Return to WWE?

Will Paige return to WWE? That is the question on many fans’ minds after the former Divas Champion was forced to retire due to injury.

Paige’s Injuries

Paige has been out of action for over a year now due to neck injuries. She has undergone two surgery’s and has been cleared to return to in ring action by WWE doctors. However, it is not known when she will actually return to WWE programming.

Paige’s first injury

Paiges first injury was a neck injury which occurred when she was dropped on her head during a match with Sasha Banks in December of 2017. This resulted in her having to undergo surgery and being out of action for several months. She returned to action in April of 2018, but was forced to retire shortly thereafter due to another neck injury.

Paige’s second injury

On October 27, 2016, at a WWE live event in Uniondale, New York, Paige took a kick to the back from Sasha Banks during a six-woman tag team match, which resulted in Paige collapsing to the mat and being unable to continue. She was then stretchered to the back. The following day, WWE confirmed that Paige had suffered an injured shoulder and would not be appearing on Raw. The extent of the injury was not known at the time.

On November 21, 2016, it was reported that Paige had undergone successful surgery on her injured shoulder. It was later revealed that she had suffered multiple cracked discs in her neck and would require fusion surgery, which would sidelined her for an indefinite period of time. In May 2017, Paige announced that she had been cleared to return to in-ring action by multiple doctors.

Paige’s WWE Status

Paige has not been seen on WWE television since June 2019, leading many to wonder if she will ever return. Paige’s neck injury was said to be serious, and it’s possible that she may not be able to return to in-ring action. However, Paige is still under contract with WWE and is said to be working behind the scenes. Only time will tell if Paige will return to WWE.
