Will WWE Network Be Free on Peacock?
Contents
As we all know, WWE Network is set to move to Peacock later this year. But the big question on everyone’s mind is: will it be free?
Unfortunately, we don’t have a definite answer just yet. But we’ll be sure to update this post as soon as we do!
What is WWE Network?
WWE Network is a subscription-based video streaming service owned by WWE, using the infrastructure of BAMTech. Launched on February 24, 2014, WWE Network is a domestic and international platform that offers online streaming of scheduled programming and a vast library of on-demand content, as well as original programming exclusive to the service.
The original launch price was $9.99/month with a six-month commitment required for new subscribers in the United States. As of September 2017, the monthly price had been cut to $4.99/month with no commitment required, although some major pay-per-view events are still carried by many cable and satellite providers at the standard $39.99 fee—which must be purchased separately from a WWE Network subscription.
In July 2020, it was announced that WWE Network would become available on Peacock starting in March 2021. No specific details were given regarding pricing or content that will be available on Peacock, but it was said that all content currently available on WWE Network will remain on the service.
What is Peacock?
Peacock is a streaming service from NBCUniversal, which is owned by Comcast. It offers a mix of live and on-demand TV, as well as movies and original programming. Peacock is available on most major streaming devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, and Android TV.

There is no word yet on whether WWE Network will be free on Peacock. However, it’s worth noting that Comcast already offers a free tier of WWE Network with its Xfinity X1 and Flex television packages.
What is the difference between WWE Network and Peacock?
The WWE Network is a paid subscription service that gives users access to live and on-demand WWE programming, as well as a vast library of past Pay-Per-View events and original content. Peacock is a streaming service from NBCUniversal that offers both free and paid tiers of service. The free tier of Peacock includes a limited selection of content, while the paid tier offers a wider range of programming, including live sports and exclusive original series.
How much does Peacock cost?
As of right now, there are three different subscription tiers for Peacock: a free version with limited content, a $4.99/month premium plan with no ads, and an $11.99/month “Peacock Premium Plus” plan that includes everything from the premium plan but also adds 4K Ultra HD content and live access to certain channels like CNBC and MSNBC.
There is no word yet on if/when WWE Network will be free on Peacock, but considering how many people have been asking the question, it’s likely that WWE is at least considering it. Right now, the only way to watch WWE Network is to sign up for a $9.99/month subscription, which gets you access to all live WWE pay-per-views, on-demand content, and original programming.
What content will be available on Peacock?
As we previously reported, NBCUniversal will be launching its new streaming service, Peacock, on July 15th. The service will feature a mix of content from NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, USA, E!, Bravo, Telemundo, Oxygen, SYFY and more. In addition to traditional TV shows and movies, the service will also offer originals and live sports.
While NBCUniversal has not yet announced pricing for Peacock, they have confirmed that the WWE Network will be available on the platform. It’s unclear at this time if the WWE Network will be offered as a standalone service or if it will be integrated into Peacock’s subscription tiers.
The WWE Network is currently available in over 180 countries and features a library of over 10,000 hours of on-demand content, including all WWE pay-per-view events. It also offers a live 24/7 channel with pre- and post-show coverage of WWE events.
When will WWE Network be available on Peacock?
WWE Network will be available on Peacock on March 18. The service will be free for all Peacock users, but there will also be a premium tier that gives users access to additional content.
