The organization’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team was picked up less than two months after the creation of the organization, with the signing of ex-SK Gaming member Ricardo “fox” Pacheco and his team.

In July 2016, Kru added their first Rocket League team with the signing of former Kings of Urban members Adam “Adamski” Adamski and Aaron “Ace” Elam. The Smite team was signed soon after, with the addition of Yoni “Youri” Youri and his team in September 2016.
