The Green Bay Packers and the Indianapolis Colts also had a close game with the Packers winning by 4 points.

-The Immaculate Reception- On December 23, 1972, in the AFC divisional playoffs, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw threw a pass that was deflected by Oakland Raiders safety Jack Tatum. The ball was caught by Steelers receiver Franco Harris, who then ran it into the end zone for a touchdown to win the game, 13–7. The play became known as the “Immaculate Reception” and is considered one of the most famous plays in NFL history.
-The Catch- On January 10, 1982, in the NFC Championship Game, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Joe Montana threw a pass to Dwight Clark in the back of the end zone with 58 seconds left on the clock. The catch resulted in a touchdown that gave the 49ers a 28–27 comeback victory over the Dallas Cowboys and sent them to their first Super Bowl.
-Music City Miracle- On January 8, 2000, in an AFC Wild Card Playoff game, Titans tight end Frank Wycheck threw a lateral across the field to Kevin Dyson on a kickoff return. Dyson then ran 75 yards for a touchdown as time expired to give the Titans a 22–16 victory over the Buffalo Bills.
