NBA Youngboy’s first arrest
NBA Youngboy was first arrested in October 2016 on charges of attempted first-degree murder. He was accused of opening fire on a group of people in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, injuring one person. He was released on bond in December 2016.
In March 2017, he was arrested again on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm and drug possession. These charges were related to a drive-by shooting that had occurred in February 2017. He pleaded guilty to the drug possession charge and was sentenced to two years’ probation.
In May 2018, he was arrested yet again on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court for the earlier aggravated assault charge. He pled guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but the sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation.
As of December 2018, NBA Youngboy has been arrested four times and is currently awaiting trial for his most recent arrest in October 2018 on charges of kidnapping and assault.

In September 2016, NBA Youngboy was arrested in Tallahassee, Florida and was charged with first-degree robbery. He was released on bond in November 2016.

NBA Youngboy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was first sentenced to jail in 2015 after pleading guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but was released on probation after two years.
In 2017, he was arrested again on charges of attempted first-degree murder and was sentenced to another 10 years in prison. However, he was released on parole in 2018.
