“This is a first-class facility,” said VMI head coach Sunny Golloway. “I’ve been in college baseball for 25 years and this is as nice a ballpark as I’ve seen.”

Appalachian State Athletics Director Doug Gillin said that the goal was to make Limits Stadium one of the best facilities in the Southern Conference “I think we have accomplished that,” Gillin said.
