Introduction
The 2020 Indiana Tech Baseball Schedule is now available. The Warriors will play a total of 56 games this season, 27 of which will be at home at Warrior Field. You can view the entire schedule below.
Highlights of the 2020 schedule include:
-The season opener on February 14th against Madonna University
-A three-game home series against Aquinas College from March 6-8
-A six-game homestand from April 17-19 against Cornerstone University and Davenport University
-The final home series of the regular season against Madonna University from May 8-10

Game 1: vs. Aquinas
Indiana Tech will take on Aquinas in their first game of the season on February 23. The game will be held at Aquinas Field and is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
Game 2: vs. Cornerstone
On Tuesday, February 25, at 3:00 p.m., the Warriors will take on the Cornerstone Golden Eagles
This will be the second game of the season for both teams. The Warriors are coming off of a 13-3 victory against Rochester College, while the Golden Eagles are coming off of a 8-2 loss to Aquinas.
This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
Game 3: vs. Davenport
The Trine University Thunder will take on the Davenport University Panthers in game three of their four-game home-and-away series. The Panthers are currently leading the conference with a 3-0 record, while the Thunder are close behind with a 2-1 record. This will be a crucial game for both teams as they battle for the top spot in the conference.
Game 4: vs. Madonna
April 4 @ 1:00 p.m.
This will be the fourth game of the season for both teams, and it’s sure to be a good one. Madonna is always a tough opponent, but the Techsters are ready to take them on. Catch all the action at 1:00 p.m. on April 4th.
Game 5: vs. Mount Vernon Nazarene
The fifth game of the season for the Indiana Tech baseball team is a Home game against Mount Vernon Nazarene. The game is scheduled for April 5th at 1 PM.
This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other in baseball. Indiana Tech is currently 2-2 on the season. They started off strong with two wins, but lost their last two games against Aquinas and Davenport. Mount Vernon Nazarene is 3-1 on the season. They have wins against Ashland, Southeastern, and Midland.
Both teams will be looking to get back on track with a win in this game. It should be a great game to watch!
Game 6: vs. Olivet Nazarene
The Tech baseball team will take on Olivet Nazarene in game six of their season. The game is set to take place on Tuesday, March 6 at 5:00 p.m. It will be held at Coveleski Stadium in South Bend Indiana.
Game 7: vs. Purdue Northwest
TheGreyhounds will take on the Purdue Northwest Pride on Tuesday, April24 at 3 p.m. at Dowling Park in Fort Wayne for game seven of the 2018 season. This will be the first meeting of these two teams since Indiana Tech joined the Great Lakes collegiate athletic conference (GLIAC) in 2016.
The Pride come into the game with a 3-20 record and are currently on a three-game losing streak The team is averaging 2.8 runs per game and have a .212 batting average The pitching staff has an 8.59 ERA with 122 strikeouts in 186 innings pitched
This will be a good test for the Greyhounds as they take on a team in their conference. The game will also be a homecoming of sorts for Head Coach Joel Welch, who is originally from Lafayette, Indiana, which is about an hour away from where Purdue Northwest is located.
Game 8: vs. Robert Morris
On Tuesday, April 9, the Indiana Tech Warriors will take on the Robert Morris Colonials at Warrior Field. The game is set to start at 3:00 p.m. and will be the second game of a doubleheader. This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other this season.
Indiana Tech is currently in their third season as a Division I baseball program and they compete in the Midwest Collegiate Conference (MCC). The Warriors finished their 2018 season with an overall record of 13-37 and a conference record of 7-17, good for seventh place in the MCC standings.
The Robert Morris Colonials are also in their third season as a Division I Baseball Program and compete in the East Conference (NEC). The Colonials finished their 2018 season with an overall record of 16-34 and a conference record of 8-16, good for fifth place in the NEC standings.
Game 9: vs. Siena Heights
On Tuesday, April 9, the Warriors will take on the Siena Heights Saints in a home game. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Warrior Field. Be sure to catch all the action as the Warriors look to continue their winning ways!
