Introducing the Shore Conference
The Shore Conference is widely recognized as one of the best leagues in the state for high school baseball The conference is made up of 16 teams from Monmouth and Ocean counties, and each team is vying for a spot in the coveted Shore conference tournament
The Shore conference tournament is a double-elimination tournament that culminates with the Championship game which is held at FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws. The winner of the Shore Conference Tournament earns an automatic berth in the NJSIAA Group 2 State Tournament
In recent years several Shore Conference teams have enjoyed success at the state level, with several teams winning State Championships In 2018, two Shore Conference teams – Middletown South and Rumson-Fair Haven – met in the Group 2 state championship game, with Middletown South coming out on top.

The Shore Conference is one of the most competitive and talented Baseball Conference in the state of New Jersey. There is no clear cut favorite heading into the season, as there are a handful of teams that could make a run at the conference title Below is a look at the Shore Conference’s top teams
1. Toms River North – The Mariners are the defending conference champions and are loaded once again. They have one of the best pitching staffs in the conference, led by ace Nick Marchese. The offense is also very potent, as they have a Number of players who can put up big numbers.
2. Middletown South – The Eagles are always one of the Top Teams in the Shore Conference and this year should be no different. They have a nice blend of experience and youth, and should be in contention for the conference title all season long
3. Jackson Memorial – The Jaguars have been one of the most dominant teams in recent years and are once again one of the favorites to win the conference title. They have a deep pitching staff that will keep them in games, and their offense is explosive.
4. Brick Memorial – The Mustangs always seem to fly under the radar, but they always find a way to compete for a conference title. They have a solid pitching staff that will keep them in games, and their offense has some dangerous hitters.
5. Howell – The Rebels are always one of the top teams in Monmouth County and this year should be no different. They have a lot of experience returning, and their pitching staff is deep and talented. The conference is made up of 10 teams, all of which are located in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The conference is split into two divisions, the Shore West and the Shore East.
The Shore Conference West is made up of Brick Memorial, Colts Neck, Freehold Borough, Howell, Manalapan, Middletown North, and Southern Regional.
The Shore Conference East consists of Jackson Memorial, Red Bank Catholic Rumson-Fair Haven, St. Rose, and Toms River East
