“We’ve worked hard all off-season to get better,” said shortstop Mikey Richards. “We’re ready to show everyone what we can do.”

The team has made some changes since last season, and they’re ready to show them off. “We’ve got a new pitcher, a new catcher, and a few new Position players ” said manager Joe Garcia. “We think we’ve got a really good team this year.”

The players are confident that they can make a run at the playoffs this year. “We believe in each other and we believe in our team,” said second baseman Tommy Lopez. “I think we can go far this season.”

The Coaches are Ready

After a year off, head coach Jason Smith and Assistant Coach Richie White are excited to be back on the diamond with their team. “We’ve been working hard in the off-season and we’re ready to get back out there and compete,” said Coach Smith The team has been busy since February, working on conditioning, weight lifting and skill development.

The team will have their work cut out for them this season, as they will be playing in one of the toughest districts in the state. But Coach Smith is confident in his team’s abilities. “We have a lot of talent on this team and I think we can surprise some people this season. We’re looking forward to getting started and seeing what we can do.”
