McQuaid Baseball: A Program on the Rise

Under the leadership of second-year Head Coach Mike slider, the McQuaid baseball team is on the rise.

After a disappointing 5-17 season in 2018, the Knights have rebounded in a big way, going 12-10 this year and qualifying for the Section V tournament.

Led by a strong senior class, McQuaid has shown vast improvement across the board, both offensively and defensively.

The Knights will look to continue their momentum into the postseason and make some noise in the playoffs.

The McQuaid Baseball Program has a rich history dating back to the early days of the school. The program has seen a lot of success over the years, winning multiple State Championships and producing some very talented players.

In recent years the program has been on the rise, winning the last two state championships and becoming one of the top programs in the state. The future is bright for McQuaid baseball, and the program looks poised to continue its success for many years to come.

The McQuaid Baseball Program has seen a lot of recent success, with the varsity team winning the Section V Class AA Championship in 2017 and 2018. The team has also been ranked nationally in several polls, including as high as #20 in the USA Today High School Sports poll.

This success is due in large part to the hard work of the players and coaches but it is also a result of the support of the McQuaid community. The McQuaid Boosters Club has been a big part of this success, raising funds to support the team and help with expenses such as travel and equipment.

With continued support from the community, there is no doubt that the McQuaid baseball program will continue to be successful for years to come!

In recent years the McQuaid Baseball Program has been on the rise. The team has made it to the State Tournament four times in the last five years, including a trip to the state semifinals in 2017.

This success is due in part to the hard work of the coaching staff and players, but it is also due to the support of the community. McQuaid has one of the best baseball facilities in the state, and the community has rallied around the team.

The future is bright for McQuaid baseball. With continued support from the community, the team has a chance to become a perennial power in New York State

In the first two parts of this series, we looked at the history of the program and how it has progressed over the years. In this final installment, we will take a closer look at the team’s recent success and what the future holds for McQuaid Baseball.

Since 2014, the McQuaid Baseball Program has been on the rise. In that year, the team won its first ever Section V Championship and followed that up with a trip to the New York State Final Four in 2015. The team has continued to build on that success, winning back-to-back Section V titles in 2016 and 2017.

This past season was one of the most successful in McQuaid history. The team finished the regular season with a 20-4 record, won another Section V Championship, and made it all the way to the New York State Semifinals.

The future is bright for McQuaid Baseball. With a young core of talented players returning next season, coupled with a solid group of incoming freshmen, the team looks poised to make another deep run in 2019.

In addition to on-field success, the McQuaid baseball program has also seen an influx of talented players in recent years. The team’s roster is littered with Division I commits, and it seems like every year there are more and more players receiving interest from top colleges.

There is no doubt that the McQuaid baseball program is on the rise. With a talented roster and a proven Head Coach the sky is the limit for this team.

The McQuaid baseball program has been on the rise in recent years. Here is a look at the program and how it has developed.

The McQuaid Baseball program has seen a lot of success in recent years. The team has won two State Championships and has made it to the state semifinals four times in the last six years.

The program has also been successful in terms of player development Fourteen McQuaid alumni have gone on to play college baseball and three have been drafted by Major League Baseball teams.

The McQuaid baseball program is one that is on the rise. With its recent successes, both on and off the field, the future looks bright for this program.

McQuaid Baseball: A Program on the Rise – Part 7

It is no secret that McQuaid baseball has been on the rise in recent years. After winning just five games in 2014, the program has posted back-to-back seasons of 20+ victories, culminating in a school-record 25-win campaign in 2016. With a strong core of returning players, the team is looking to take another step forward in 2017.

One key to the team’s success has been its ability to develop pitchers. In each of the last two seasons, McQuaid has had a pitcher selected in the MLB Draft (Sean Murphy in 2015 and Jack Leiter in 2016). The team also had two pitchers – Murphy and Leiter – named to the perfect game All-American Team in 2016.

Another big key for the team has been its defense. In each of the last two seasons, McQuaid has had one of its outfielders named to the Rawlings Gold Glove team (Murphy in 2015 and Leiter in 2016).

With a mix of experienced veterans and talented young players McQuaid looks poised for another successful season in 2017.
