What is NTIS Baseball?

The History of NTIS Baseball

The National Training and Information Service (NTIS) has a long and storied history with baseball. Founded in 1857, NTIS is the oldest Baseball Organization in the United States NTIS was a pioneer in the development of baseball as a sport, and played an important role in its growth and popularity.

NTIS baseball was originally created as a training ground for young players who aspired to professional careers. Many of the game’s greatest players got their start with NTIS, including Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron NTIS also produced some of the game’s most memorable moments, such as Roger Maris’s record-breaking 61st home run in 1961.
