It’s been another great week in baseball, and we’re here to recap all of the action for you. The Boston Red Sox continued their winning ways, taking both games of a doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles The New York Yankees also had a successful week, winning four out of six games against division rivals. Meanwhile, the struggling Chicago Cubs lost all seven of their games this week.

In other news, San Francisco Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner made his return to the mound this week after missing most of the season with an injury. Bumgarner looked sharp in his first start back, pitching seven innings of shutout baseball. It’s good to see Bumgarner back on the mound and pitching well!

This week was all about the home runs as some of the biggest sluggers in the game showed off their power. But there were also a few pitching performances worth highlighting, including a no-hitter and a near-perfect game Here are some of the best moments from this week in baseball.

Homers galore
home runs were flying out of parks all over the country this week, with several players hitting multiple long balls. Giancarlo Stanton of the Miami Marlins hit four homers in three games, while Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado and Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve each hit three. Several other players hit two homers in a single game, including J.D. Martinez of the Detroit Tigers Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers and George Springer of the Astros.

No-hitters and near-misses
There were two no-hitters this week, as James Paxton of the Seattle Mariners threw one against Toronto on Tuesday and Joey Lucchesi of the San Diego Padres accomplished the feat against Houston on Friday. Paxton’s no-hitter was particularly impressive, as he struck out 16 batters and came within one strike of a perfect game Lucchesi was also close to perfection, allowing just one walk over nine innings pitched

In addition to those two no-hitters, there were several near-misses this week. Atlanta Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz came within one out of a no-hitter against San Francisco on Wednesday, while Los Angeles Angels pitcher Jaime Barria narrowly missed out on a perfect game against Seattle on Thursday when Kyle Seager broke it up with a base hit in the ninth inning
