Mercyhurst has been a bubble team for the past few seasons and just narrowly missed out on an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament They will be looking to prove that they belong in the tournament this year.

The Tigers finished the regular season with a record of 12-13-3 and are the 9 seed in the tournament. They will face off against 8 seed Niagara in the first round. RIT is coming off of a disappointing season in which they failed to make the NCAA Tournament They will be looking to redeem themselves this year and prove that they are still one of the Top Teams in Atlantic Hockey.

Despite all of the adversity, there were still plenty of collegiate Hockey teams that fought their way through to the end and made it to the playoffs. The Atlantic Hockey Playoffs are an annual single-elimination tournament that determines the NCAA Division I men’s Ice Hockey championship for teams from the Atlantic Hockey conference (AHC).

The third-seeded Team North Dakota is also a team to keep an eye on. They had a very successful regular season, losing only eight games. They have a deep and talented roster that can compete with any team in the playoffs.
