Are The Bellas Returning To WWE?

The Bellas are back in the WWE and we couldn’t be more excited! We’re taking a look at why they’re returning and what we can expect from them in the ring.

Yes

Brie Bella

Brie Bella is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE under the ring name Brie Bella. She appeared frequently on the reality television show Total Divas with her sister Nikki Bella, and she is a former one-time WWE Divas Champion. In November 2015, she announced a hiatus from in-ring competition due to her pregnancy. She returned in March 2017. Born in San Diego, California and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, Brianna Garcia-Colace was passionate about soccer growing up and even considered pursuing a career in it until she sustained a serious injury at age 14. She then began modeling, acting, and working as a waitress until 2007 when she decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling and was trained by Natalya Neidhart and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s nephew Daniel Puder.

Brie made her main roster debut under the name Brianna as part of The Bella Twins with her sister Nikki at SummerSlam in 2008. She quickly started a scripted rivalry with Victoria Crawford and Victoria’s real-life husband Johnny Laurinaitis. In April 2009, it was announced that both Bellas had been moved to SmackDown!. After winning their first WWE Divas Championship at Night of Champions in 2010, they became the only team to hold both the WWE Women’s Championship (then deactivated) and WWE Divas Championship simultaneously when Nikki defeated Michelle McCool for the title on November 21. They held both titles until April 11, 2011 when they defeated Natalya and Beth Phoenix for the WWE Women’s Championship again. They held it for about two months before losing it back to Phoenix and McCool on June 19 at Capitol Punishment. In October 2011, Brianna debuted her “Bella Buster” maneuver and successfully executed it on Kelly Kelly at the Vengeance pay-per-view event; following which Brie scheduled another match between them outside NXT Redemption which resulted into another victory for Brie. On November 21 at Survivor Series pay-per-view event they defeated Team Johnny (Rosa Mendes, Tamina Snuka & Alicia Fox) captained by their real life boyfriend/ulterior motive Johnny Laurinaitis in a 7-on-7 Diva Survivor Series elimination tag team match; thus giving Team Vickie their first loss since forming together back on SmackDown! two months earlier while also cost Laurinaitis his job as General Manager of both Raw & SmackDown due to his teams’ loss & subsequent firing from backstage by The Board of Directors one week later on Raw

Nikki Bella

It looks like the Bella Twins may be making their way back to WWE sooner rather than later.

On a recent episode of The Bellas Podcast, Nikki Bella teased that she and her sister Brie may be returning to WWE programming in the near future.

While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, it seems likely that the popular twins will be making their way back to WWE TV in the near future.

No

The Bella Twins have not been seen on WWE programming since WrestleMania 35. This has led to speculation that they may have quit WWE. However, there is no confirmation of this as of yet.

WWE’s current situation

WWE is in a bit of a situation at the moment. The company is without a television deal in the United States, and its flagship program, Monday Night Raw, is currently airing on the USA Network for free.

This means that WWE is without a major source of revenue, and it is also losing out on potential new fans who would normally be able to watch WWE programming on cable or satellite TV.

The silver lining for WWE is that its ratings have actually increased since going off the air, due to the fact that people are curious about what is happening with the company.

WWE has also been able to sign some new deals with other networks, such as TLC in the UK and Fox Sports Latin America.

However, these deals are not nearly enough to make up for the revenue that WWE is losing by not being on TV in the United States.

The Bellas’ current situation

The Bellas announced their retirement from WWE in 2019, but there’s speculation that they may be making a return to the company. Here’s what we know about their current situation.

As of right now, it does not seem like the Bellas are planning on returning to WWE anytime soon. They have both said that they are retired from wrestling, and they seem to be focusing on other projects. However, given their popularity, it’s always possible that WWE could try to persuade them to come back at some point.

The Bella Twins made waves in the professional wrestling world when they announced their retirement from WWE in 2019. The sisters cited a desire to focus on other projects outside of wrestling as their reason for leaving the company. Since then, they have started a YouTube channel, a wine business, and they have also made several appearances on reality television shows.

While the Bellas have said that they are retired from wrestling, there has been some speculation that they may make a return to WWE at some point in the future. Given their popularity with fans, it’s possible that WWE could try to persuade them to come back. However, as of right now, there are no concrete plans for the Bella Twins to return to WWE.
