What is Babycakes Baseball?

Babycakes Baseball is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2006. The mission of Babycakes Baseball is to provide an opportunity for young people with special needs to exercise their talents and abilities in an organized baseball program

Babycakes Baseball is open to children ages 5-18 with any type of physical, developmental, or cognitive disability. There are no tryouts or drafts, and all children who wish to play are welcome.

The goal of Babycakes Baseball is to provide a safe and fun environment where all participants can learn the Game of Baseball improve their skills, and make new friends.

But the Barkers are not ready to give up on their dream. They are currently looking for a new president to take over the day-to-day operations of the league, and they remain committed to providing opportunities for all children to play baseball

Looking to the future, the Barkers hope to expand Babycakes Baseball to include more teams and players. They also hope to partner with Major League Baseball to help promote the league and raise awareness about special needs children in sports.
