How to Make a Baseball Furies Costume

What You’ll Need

Whether you’re looking for a group costume or just want to dress up as your favorite Warriors gang member for Halloween, this guide will show you what you need to make a baseball Furies costume.

Materials:
--baseball uniform (jersey, pants, belt, hat)
--Face Paint in white and black
-Pair of white gloves
-Black wig or hair dye

The Shirt

The shirt is the easiest and most important part of the costume. It should be a white tank top with a blue lightning bolt design on the front. You can find these shirts at most craft stores or online. If you can’t find a shirt with the right design, you can always make your own using fabric paint or a transfer paper.

To complete the look, you’ll also need a pair of blue jeans and a leather jacket.

The Jacket

Paint your entire face white, and then use black paint or eyeliner to create tiger stripes on your cheeks going down to your jawline. The Pants

You will need:
-a pair of black pants
-a pair of white stripes
-Adhesive
-Scissors

1. Cut the white stripes to the desired length. We recommend that they should be about 2 inches wide and extend from the bottom of the pant leg to the waist.
2. Place the adhesive on the back of the stripe and attach it to the pant leg, making sure that it is evenly placed. Repeat with the other stripe.
3. Cut any excess adhesive off of the pants.

The Boots

The most important part of the costume are the boots. You will need to find a pair of high top sneakers that are at least 3 inches taller than your actual height. The baseball furies wore Puma Clyde sneakers, which are now very hard to find. Any tall, high top sneaker will work as long as it is mostly white with Blue and Orange accents. You will also need white laces and blue and orange laces to create the two-tone effect.

The Gloves

You can find a pair of white leather gloves at any costume or Halloween store. Look for a pair that is not too thick and not too flimsy. They should be well-made so that they will hold up to some Abuse. You can also find these gloves at many online stores.

To make the necessary cuts in the gloves, first put them on. Using a black Sharpie or other permanent felt-tip marker, draw a line around the base of each finger, as well as around the thumb. Cut along these lines with scissors, being very careful not to cut yourself.

The Makeup

Whether you want to be a fierce human or a feral cat, the key to a successful Baseball Furies costume is all in the makeup. Follow these steps for the perfect look.

1. Start with a clean face. If you have long hair tie it back so it doesn’t get in the way.

2. Using a black pencil eyeliner, heavily line your eyes, extending the liner slightly beyond the outer corners of your eyes. You want to create a dramatic, cat-eye look.

3. Next, use white face paint or foundation to create a base color all over your face. This will help the other colors stand out and make your makeup more visible from far away.
