As of February 26, 2020, the Big Ten Hockey Standings are as follows:

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are currently in first place with a conference record of 17-5-2 and an overall record of 22-6-2. The Wisconsin Badgers are in second place with a conference record of 16-6-2 and an overall record of 21-7-2. The Penn State Nittany Lions are in third place with a conference record of 13-8-3 and an overall record of 18-10-3, followed by the Ohio State Buckeyes in fourth place with a conference record of 12-9-3 and an overall record of 16-12-4. The Michigan State Spartans round out the top five with a conference record of 12-10-2 and an overall record of 16-11-4.

With conference play in Full Swing it’s time to take a look at how the Big Ten’s teams are stacking up. As of right now, Minnesota is on top of the pack with a perfect 8-0 record in conference play They are followed closely by Michigan, who has only one loss in seven games. Rounding out the top three is Penn State who has only lost two games so far.
At the other end of the spectrum, Illinois and Wisconsin are currently at the bottom with records of 2-6 and 1-7, respectively. Both teams have struggled to find their footing so far this season and will need to turn things around quickly if they want to avoid being left behind by the rest of the conference.

The Wolverines are looking like the team to beat in the Big Ten this season. They have wins over some of the top teams in the conference, including Minnesota, Ohio State and Penn State Michigan is also unbeaten in its last six games, dating back to November 30th.

The Big Ten conference is made up of some of the most competitive and storied college hockey programs in the country. Here are the standings for the top teams in the conference as of February 25th, 2020.

The Big Ten’s Top Hockey Teams
There is a clear top three in the Big Ten right now. Minnesota, Notre Dame and Ohio State are the only three teams with winning records in conference play. The other seven teams are all below .500 and fighting for position.
Michigan is currently in fourth place, but they have a losing record and are just barely hanging on. They could easily fall down the standings if they don’t turn things around soon.
Fifth place is a tie between Penn State and Wisconsin. Both teams have identical records and are separated by just one point in the standings. They will likely continue to battle it out for the rest of the season.
Further down the standings, there is a logjam of teams fighting for position. Michigan State Iowa, Indiana, and Illinois are all within two points of each other and hoping to move up.
