The Catholic Memorial Hockey Team won the Massachusetts state championship on Sunday, defeating Boston Latin 2-1 in the final game

It is the first state title for Catholic Memorial, which finished the season with a 20-3-1 record.

The championship is a significant achievement for a program that has only been in existence for six years.

In 2018, the Catholic Memorial Hockey team won the state championship This was a significant achievement for the team, as it was their first win in over 10 years. The team’s success is a result of the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches, and staff. The team’s accomplishment is a testament to the strength of the Catholic Memorial community.

The Road to the State Championship

The Catholic Memorial hockey team won the State Championship on March 10th, 2018. The team had an incredible season, finishing with a record of 24-1-1. This is the first state championship for Catholic Memorial in hockey, and the second State Championship for the school in any sport. The team is coached by Catholic Memorial alumnus Bill Guerin, who played 18 seasons in the NHL.

Game Highlights

The Catholic Memorial hockey team won the State Championship on Saturday, March 10th with a 3-2 victory over Xaverian Brothers. The game was played at the TD Garden in Boston.

It was a back-and-forth game, with neither team leading by more than one goal. Catholic Memorial scored first, but Xaverian tied it up midway through the first period. Catholic Memorial regained the lead early in the second period, but Xaverian again tied the game late in the second.

The third period was scoreless until Catholic Memorial’s captain scored the go-ahead goal with just over five minutes remaining. The team held on to win 3-2 and claim the state championship.

The Fans

The supporters of the Catholic Memorial Hockey Team were in high spirits as their team won the state championship. Many of the fans had been following the team for years and were thrilled to see them finally take home the trophy. Other fans were new to the sport, but enjoyed watching a good game. All of the fans were excited to see their team win and celebrate with them.

The Coaches

Head Coach Bill263 and Assistant Coach JMeyers led the team to a 21-3-1 record this season. It is the first state championship for Catholic Memorial Hockey in school history.

The Players

The Catholic Memorial Hockey Team is comprised of seventeen student-athletes, ranging in age from sixteen to eighteen. For the majority of the players, this was their fourth year on the varsity squad. The team is led by their captain, senior defenseman Jake DeAngelo, and are coached by head coach Bill Bellew.

What’s Next for Catholic Memorial Hockey?

Now that Catholic Memorial hockey has won the state championship, what’s next for the team?
The answer to that question is two-fold: short-term and long-term.

In the short-term, the team will enjoy a well-deserved break before starting to prepare for next season. The Coaching Staff will use this time to assess the team’s strengths and weaknesses and make any necessary adjustments. The goal is always to improve and be even better next season.

In the long-term, the hope is that this state championship is just the beginning of a dynastic run. With a core group of talented players returning next season, Catholic Memorial has a chance to not only repeat as State Champions but also win multiple championships in the years to come. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Catholic Memorial hockey.

Looking Back at a Memorable Season

It was a season to remember for the Catholic Memorial Hockey Team The team won the state championship, finishing the season with a record of 24-2-1.

The season started off strong, with the team winning its first 12 games. The only blemishes on the record were a loss to Hopkinton in the final game of the regular season and a loss to St. John’s in the State Tournament

Despite those losses, the team rallied to win the state championship, defeating St. John’s in the final. It was a fitting end to a dominant season by a group of talented players.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the Catholic Memorial Hockey team has won the state championship. This is a huge accomplishment for our school and our team, and we are so proud of what they have accomplished.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the parents and guardians who have supported our team throughout the season. Your encouragement and belief in our players has been a key part of our success. I would also like to thank the community for your support of Catholic Memorial Hockey. We could not have done it without you.
