Parrish pointed to the South region, where he said there are “three or four legit Final Four contenders” in No. 1 overall seed Virginia, No. 2 seed Tennessee, and No. 3 seed Purdue. All three of those teams could potentially meet in the Elite Eight.

“If you’re looking at one region where an upset is likely, it might be the Midwest,” said CBSSports.com College Basketball analyst Kyle Boone. “Texas Tech is a three seed, but I think they’re probably better than that.”

Boone also mentioned Buffalo as a team that could make some noise in the tournament. The Bulls are a No. 6 seed, but Boone said they “could easily win a couple games and make a run to the Sweet 16.”
