The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles women’s basketball team is one to Watch This Season Here are three players to keep an eye on.

The Florida Gulf Coast Eagles are a Division I Basketball team that competes in the Atlantic Sun Conference

The team is currently coached by Joe Curl, who is in his first season with the Eagles. The team plays its home games at Alico Arena, located on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers Florida. The Eagles have made one appearance in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament in which they defeated the Missouri Tigers in the first round before losing to the Florida State Seminoles in the second round.

The Eagles have had two players be named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Conference First Team: Chelsea Lyles (2016) and China Dow (2017). Lyles was also named the Atlantic Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Year for the 2016 season.

-Tytionia Adderly: A senior forward from Daytona Beach Florida, Adderly averaged 10.4 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game last season. She has been named to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team for three consecutive seasons (2015-2017).
