Head coach John Casanova is entering his sixth season at the helm of the program, and under his guidance, the team has seen a steady improvement in their win-loss record. Last season, the team finished with a 27-19 overall record and earned a spot in the conference tournament
Assistant coaches Matt Blake and Tyler Murray are also key members of the staff, and they work together to create a positive and competitive environment for the players.

The team’s pitching staff is led by junior ace Jake Jones, who was named CSUP Pitcher of the Year last season. Jones is joined by a solid group of young pitchers who will look to build on their success from last year. The team’s top hitter is sophomore third baseman Ryan Shaw, who batted .338 with 10 home runs and 42 RBI last season. Shaw will be flanked by a number of talented young hitters, including freshmen first baseman Alex Park and outfielder Matt Johnson.
