David Hess: A Baseball Star on the Rise

David Hess is a Baseball Star who is on the rise. He has worked hard to get to where he is and is an inspiration to many.

Early life and family

David Hess was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on April 12, 1996, to parents Jeff and Jenny Hess. He has two older sisters, Katie and Allison. Growing up, Hess enjoyed playing a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, and soccer. However, he always had a special love for baseball and knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue it professionally.

Hess began his High School career at Calvert Hall College high school in Towson, Maryland. As a freshman, he played on the varsity team as a pitcher and infielder. He quickly proved himself to be a star player leading the team to the state championship game his junior year. Unfortunately, they lost in the final game but Hess was named MVP of the tournament.

After graduating from high school in 2014, Hess was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 11th round of the MLB Draft He decided to forgo college and sign with the Orioles.

David’s love for baseball

David Hess has always loved baseball. As a kid, he would play catch with his dad in the front yard. When he was old enough, he joined a Little League team Hess quickly became one of the best players on the team. His parents and friends would come to his games to watch him hit home runs and make great defensive plays.

As Hess got older, he continued to excel at baseball. He was recruited by colleges to play on their teams. Hess decided to go to Duke University on a baseball scholarship.

Hess had a great collegiate career. He was named an All-American and helped lead Duke to the College World Series After graduation, Hess was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the fifth round of the MLB draft

Hess made his Major League debut in 2018 and quickly became one of the Orioles’
