The Diamond Classic Baseball Tournament is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to providing a quality baseball experience for high school aged student-athletes in the South Jersey area.

The tournament will consist of 16 teams from the tri-state area, with each team guaranteed to play three games. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the single elimination playoff round.

The tournament rules are as follows:
-Each team must provide their own baseballs. The home team will provide two new balls for each game, and the away team will provide one new ball.
-A coin toss will determine who the home team is for each game. The home team will occupy the third base dugout, and the away team will occupy the first base dugout.
-Each game will be seven innings long, with no inning starting after 2 hours and 15 minutes have elapsed from the start time of the game. If a game is tied after seven innings, it will go into Extra Innings with each extra inning being played like a regular inning.
-The mercy rule is in effect for all games. If a team is ahead by 10 or more runs after five innings (or four and a half innings if the home team is ahead), then that team will be declared the winner.
-There is no stadium lighting, so all games must be finished before dusk. In case of inclement weather, games may be postponed and rescheduled at the discretion of the tournament director.
-Only rostered players and coaches are allowed in the dugout during games. No parents or other spectators are allowed in the dugout at any time during games.
-Every player on each team must play in at least one game during the tournament, provided that said player does not violate any rules set forth by his/her high school concerning eligibility requirements or playing time restrictions.
