Duxbury Baseball is a tradition of excellence. Founded in 1974, Duxbury Baseball is one of the original eight charter members of the Massachusetts Bay Independent baseball league (MBIBL). The league was formed to provide an opportunity for post-High School aged players to compete at a high level of semi-professional baseball

Duxbury Baseball has a rich history of success. In the 43 years since its inception, Duxbury has won 12 league championships, including a streak of five consecutive titles from 2006-2010. Duxbury has also been awarded the coveted Mayo Cup, given to the team with the best overall record in the MBIBL, on 10 occasions.

In addition to its on-field success, Duxbury Baseball is also known for its well-run operation and its commitment to giving back to the community. The team annually raises money for local charities, and has donated over $100,000 to worthy causes since its inception.

Duxbury Baseball was founded in 1892, making it one of the oldest baseball programs in the country. The program has a long tradition of success, winning over 20 league titles and 5 State Championships Duxbury Baseball is also one of the most successful programs in terms of sending players to the collegiate and professional ranks. Over 100 Duxbury baseball alumni have gone on to play college baseball and 15 have played Professional Baseball including Major League All-Star Chris Sale

Our Coaching Staff is made up of volunteers who are committed to teaching the game of baseball and helping our players to reach their full potential, both as players and as young men. Our coaches are required to complete a background check and participate in ongoing training in order to ensure the safety and well-being of our players.

The Players
