Cornell
Cornell is a private research university located in Ithaca, New York. The university is the land-grant institution of New York andmember of the Ivy League Cornell’s main campus is on East Hill in Ithaca, overlooking Cayuga Lake. Since its founding, Cornell has been a co-educational, non-sectarian institution where admission has not been restricted by religion or race.
The university was founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White as a result of the abolition of slavery and the opening of the Western frontier. The school began operating in September 1868 with fourteen faculty members and sixty-three students.
Clarkson
Clarkson is a private research university located in Potsdam, New York, in the United States It was founded in 1896 and has an enrollment of about 4,200 students. The school is best known for its programs in business, health sciences, and engineering. Clarkson is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the 79th best university in the Northern Region of the United States
Colgate
Colgate is a NCAA Division I Ice Hockey program that competes in the ECAC Hockey conference. The team is based at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York and plays its home games at Class of 1965 Arena.
The program has won six regular season conference championships and five conference tournament championships. The team has also made 15 appearances in the NCAA Division I Men’s Ice hockey Tournament, with their most recent appearance coming in 2019.
Dartmouth
Dartmouth enters the season as the favorite to win the ECAC title. Big Green have won three straight ECAC championships and are the defending NCAA champions. Dartmouth is led by senior goaltender James Mello, who was named the MVP of the NCAA tournament last year. Mello will be backed up by sophomore goalie Mike Lyons.
The Big Green offense is led by junior forward Tyler Sikura, who was second on the team in scoring last year with 15 goals and 18 assists. Sikura will be joined by senior forward Matt Lindblad and junior forward Eric Robinson on the top line.
The Dartmouth defense is anchored by senior captain Andy Simpson, who had two goals and seven assists last season. The Big Green also have junior defenseman Tim Shoup, who was named to the ECAC All-Rookie Team last year.
Dartmouth will be looking to win its fourth straight ECAC title this season. The Big Green have won back-to-back NCAA Championships and are looking to become the first team to win three straight titles since Michigan did it in 1996-97.
Harvard
Harvard is the top-ranked ECAC Hockey Team in the nation. The Crimson are coming off a season in which they won the Beanpot, Ivy League regular season and Ivy League tournament titles. They have a deep and experienced roster that includes senior goaltender Merrick Madsen, who was named the Ivy League Player of the Year. Harvard will look to make a run at the NCAA Tournament this season.
