The Fenwick Friars Baseball Team is coached by a dedicated staff who are committed to helping the team succeed. The Head Coach is Sean Ryan, who has been with the team for four years. He is joined by assistant coaches Matt Moran and Steve Pokorny. Coach Pokorny also serves as the team’s pitching coach.

Coach Ryan is a local product, having played his high school baseball at Fenwick. He then went on to play college ball at the University of Iowa After college, he spent time coaching in the minor leagues before returning to Fenwick to take over the baseball program

Moran and Pokorny are both former players at Fenwick. Coach Pokorny was a member of the state championship team in 2001 and went on to pitch at Notre Dame Moran was a three-sport athlete at Fenwick and also pitched at Notre Dame He returned to his alma mater after spending several years coaching at the collegiate level.

All three coaches have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with the team, and they are committed to helping the Friars reach their full potential on and off the field.
