Dikembe Mutombo: played at Georgetown from 1988 to 1991, still holds the school’s record for career blocks with 301, was a two-time NCAA Defensive Player of the Year, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.

Alonzo Mourning: played at Georgetown from 1988 to 1992, is second on the school’s all-time list for blocks with 294, was a three-time NCAA Defensive Player of the Year, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014.

Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje: played at Georgetown from 1998 to 2002, is third on the school’s all-time list for blocks with 186, was a two-time All-Big East Defensive Team selection, and is currently an Assistant Coach for the Hoyas.
