The team’s success is due in large part to its strong pitching staff. The staff is led by ace pitcher Jose Reyes, who has been with the program for three years. Reyes has been named conference pitcher of the year twice, and was recently named an All-American.

In addition to Reyes, the pitching staff includes a number of other standouts, such as David Martinez, Arturo Sanchez, and Sebastian Castro. Martinez was recently named conference player of the week, while Sanchez was named an All-Star last season. Castro is a newcomer to the team who was signed out of Cuba last year.
