The Hinds Community college baseball team is headed to the playoffs for the first time in 3 years and the coaches are confident in the team’s abilities. Coach Anderson says, “Our goal from the beginning of the season was to make it to the playoffs and we have worked hard to achieve that goal. We are now focused on preparing for a successful playoff run.”

The team has had a successful season with a record of 30-16. They finished 3rd in the division and are looking forward to the challenge of facing tougher competition in the playoffs. The players are excited and ready to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with.

“We know that we are capable of winning against anyone,” says third baseman Ryan Sweeney. “We just have to go out there and play our game.”

The team’s first Playoff Game will be against Jones County junior college on May 16th.
