There is nothing worse than watching two players who are mismatched in size or skill level duke it out because it usually just ends up looking like a bully beating up on someone who can’t defend themselves.

One of the most iconic hockey fights of all time took place between Tie Domi of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Bob Probert of the Detroit Red Wings during a pre-season game in 1992. both were tough guys who knew how to fight, and they went at it for almost two minutes before finally being separated. Another great hockey fight occurred during a regular season game between the New York Rangers and the New York Islanders in 2011. The Rangers’ Brandon Dubinsky and the Islanders’ Trevor Gillies dropped their gloves and started throwing punches almost as soon as the puck was dropped to start the game.
