2019 Roster
The 2019 Holy Cross baseball team will feature a blend of experienced veterans and talented newcomers. The team will be looking to build on the success of last year’s squad, which won a school-record 41 games and earned a berth in the NCAA tournament
Headlining the returningPlayers are senior tri-captains Brendan Curry (outfield), Robert Baldocchi (infield/pitcher) and Will Gorman (catcher). Curry is a two-time All-Patriot League selection who led the team in batting average (.358) and stolen bases (22) last season. Baldocchi is a three-year starter at third base who hit .337 with four home runs and 28 RBIs in 2018. Gorman is one of the Top Defensive catchers in the country, throwing out 18 would-be base stealers last season.
On the mound, the Crusaders will be led by junior All-American Brandon Boehm, who went 10-1 with a 2.40 ERA last season. He will be joined in the rotation by senior Hayden Nelson (6-3, 3.21 ERA) and junior Drew Donovan (5-3, 3.75 ERA). The bullpen will feature a mix of experience and youth, with sophomore Matt Vail (5 saves, 1.59 ERA) and junior Connor logan (4 saves, 2.45 ERA) leading the way.

2019 Results
The 2019 baseball season for the Holy Cross Crusaders was one for the history books. The team won their first-ever Patriot League championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006. Along the way, they set a program record for wins in a season with 36. Head Coach Greg DiCenzo was named Patriot League Coach of the Year, while senior second baseman Connor Perry was named Patriot League Player of the Year. 2019 Team
The 2019 Holy Cross college baseball team looks to build on the success of last year’s squad that went 18-22 overall and 12-10 in the Patriot League head coach Greg DiCenzo returns for his 13th season at the helm of the Crusaders, and he will be looking to lead Holy Cross back to the postseason for the first time since 2015. The Crusaders will have a solid core of veteran leaders to build around, as 14 members of last year’s team return this spring. Seniors Jake Smith Matt Butterfield and Josh Hassell will all serve as captains for Holy Cross in 2019.

The 2019 Holy Cross baseball season will be the 124th season of the university’s varsity baseball program. The Head Coach will be Greg DiCenzo, who is in his sixth season at Holy Cross. He will be joined by assistant coaches Mike Nagy and Nick Dalesandro.
