In September 2018, NBA Youngboy was arrested again on a warrant for two counts offirst-degree assault and one count of discharging a firearm in city limits. He pleaded guilty to the charges in January 2019 and was sentenced to three years and six months in prison, with credit for time served. He was released on February 12, 2019.

As of April 2020, NBA Youngboy has been arrested seven times and has spent a total of approximately two years in jail.
