In 2014, Watt earned his second AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award after leading the league with 17.5 sacks as well as being ranked first in tackles for loss (29), quarterback hits (50), and forced fumbles (5), while also scoring three touchdowns on offense, becoming only the second defensive player ever to do so in a season. He has recorded 78 tackles, 14 sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries through his first five seasons.
