Updating your roster in NBA 2K18 is easy and only takes a few steps. You can update your roster by going to the “MyGM/MyLEAGUE” tab on the main menu, selecting “Roster Management”, and then selecting “Update Roster”.
From the main screen, press “Options/Triangle” and then select “MyGM” or “MyLEAGUE”.
From the main menu, press “Options/Triangle” again and this time select “Settings”.
Under the “Gameplay” tab, scroll down to the setting labeled “Auto-Update Roster” and make sure it is turned off. If it is turned on, your game will automatically download roster updates whenever they are available without any input from you.
Now that you have ensured that auto-updates are turned off, it’s time to update your roster manually. To do this, go back to the main menu and press “Options/Triangle” one more time. This time, select the option labeled “Download Roster Updates”.
A message will pop up asking if you want to update your roster. Select “Yes”, and the update will begin downloading. Once it has completed downloading, a message will appear informing you that the process is complete. Your roster will now be up-to-date!
Select “Roster” and then “Edit Roster.”
Once you’re in the “MyTEAM” main menu, use the LB/RB bumpers to switch between the “TEAM”, “ROSTER”, and “MYPLAYER” tabs. Select “ROSTER”, and then use the D-Pad or Left Stick to highlight the team whose roster you want to update. Press X/A to select that team, and then scroll down to “Edit Roster.”
Scroll through the list of players and make any desired changes.
NBA 2K18 allows you to change your roster to update it with the latest trades and free agency signings. Here’s how to do it:
-Go to “My League” from the main menu.
-Select “Season.”
-Choose “Roster.”
-Scroll through the list of players and make any desired changes.
-Click “Confirm.”
Select “Save Roster” when you are finished.
