The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is proud to announce that WAQY 102.3 FM “Your Home of Illini basketball Radio” is the new official home of Illini Basketball Radio WAQY will serve as the flagship station for all men’s and women’s basketball games beginning with the 2017-2018 season

WAQY has been a longtime provider of Illini sports programming and is the home of “The Final Score,” a nightly show dedicated to University of Illinois athletics. In addition to being the new home of Illini Basketball Radio WAQY will also air coaches’ shows for both men’s and women’s basketball, as well as “Fighting Illini Sports Talk,” a weekly program featuring interviews with Illinois coaches and athletes.

The Voice of Illini basketball BTN 960 is the exclusive home for University of Illinois basketball games From tip-off to the final buzzer, fans can follow every game live on BTN 960 and the iHeartRadio app.

Coverage begins 30 minutes prior to each game with the “BTN 960 Pregame Show”, followed by the “BTN 960 Postgame Show” immediately after the game. Neill Snyderman serves as the play-by-play voice, while former Illini player Jerrad Johnson provides color commentary.

BTN 960 is devoted to providing comprehensive coverage of Illini basketball all season long In addition to live game broadcasts, BTN 960 also airs a weekly show “Talking Illini Basketball” every Wednesday night at 6:00 PM CT.
