As the Isotopes gear up for their annual Interleague play, fans may be wondering which games they can’t afford to miss. We’ve got you covered, with a rundown of the Isotopes’ most important Interleague matchups.

The Isotopes will take on the Albuquerque Dukes in a three-game series from June 7-9. This will be the first time these two New Mexico rivals have faced off since 2014, and the first time they’ve met in Albuquerque since 2013. The series is sure to be a tense one, with the Dukes holding a slim lead in the all-time series between the two teams.

From June 10-12, the Isotopes will travel to Texas to take on the San Antonio Missions. This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other since 2015, when the Missions swept the Isotopes in a three-game series. The Isotopes will be looking to exact some revenge on their Texas rivals this time around.

The final stop on the League schedule is a three-game set against the Las Vegas 51s from June 13-15. This will be the first meeting between these two teams since 2016, when the 51s swept the Isotopes in a three-game series. The Isotopes will no doubt be looking for some payback against their Nevada foes this time around.

The Albuquerque Isotopes are a Minor League Baseball team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. They are the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies The Isotopes play in the Pacific Coast League and are named for the nuclear science history of Albuquerque. Through the 2018 season, they have been affiliated with seven Major League Baseball teams.

The Isotopes began play in 2003. They were created when the Calgary Cannons franchise relocated to Albuquerque and became the Albuquerque Dukes in 1972. The Dukes were renamed the Isotopes in 2001 in a naming contest. The Dukes played their home games at Tingley Coliseum from 1972-2000. Since then, they have played at Isotopes Park, which opened in 2003.

The Isotopes have finished first in their division five times (2004, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014) and have made the playoffs eight times (2003-2010, 2012). They won back-to-back PCL championships in 2003 and 2004 and won again in 2009. The Isotopes’ most famous alumnus is future MLB Hall of Famer Trevor Hoffman.
