The Kentucky Wildcats overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat the South Carolina Gamecocks 81-78 on Saturday at Rupp Arena
It was the fifth consecutive win for Kentucky (19-5, 9-2 SEC), which remains in second place in the Conference Standings behind LSU.
South Carolina (11-13, 4-7 SEC) has now lost four of its last five games.
The Wildcats were led by sophomore guard Tyler Herro who scored a game-high 28 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, including 6-of-9 from three-point range
Freshman forward PJ Washington added 17 points and 12 rebounds for Kentucky, while junior guard Quade Green had 11 points and seven assists.
