Langan Baseball is a baseball games played between two teams of nine players each, who take turns batting and fielding. The batting team tries to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the pitcher and then running around the bases, while the fielding team tries to stop them from scoring by getting them out. There are three ways to get out:
-striking out: this happens when the batter swings at three pitches and misses them all;
-hitting into a double play this happens when the batter hits the ball to a fielder who throws it to another fielder, who then throws it to another fielder, who then tags the runner; or
-catching a fly ball this happens when the batter hits the ball in the air and a fielder catches it.
The team that scores the most runs in their half of the inning wins. If both teams score the same number of runs in their half of the inning, it is called a tie.
