5-star center N’Faly Dante commits to Louisville

Five-star center N’Faly Dante has committed to Louisville, he announced on Twitter on Tuesday.

Dante, a 6-foot-11 center from Mali who attends Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas, is the No. 9 player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings for the 2020 class. He is also the No. 2 center in the country.

Dante chose Louisville over finalist Oregon, as well as Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU and TCU.

“I just felt like it was the best place for me,” Dante told 247Sports of Louisville. “I have a good relationship with coach [Chris] Mack and the rest of the staff. I just feel like it’s a good place for me to develop as a player and a person.”

Dante is Louisville’s second commit in the 2020 class, joining four-star small forward Samuell Williamson.

4-star Power Forward Zeke Nnaji commits to Louisville

The Louisville Cardinals have landed a commitment from Zeke Nnaji, a four-star power forward in the class of 2019.

Nnaji, who is 6-foot-11 and 225 pounds, is rated as the No. 28 power forward and the No. 119 overall player in the 247Sports Composite rankings He is also ranked by ESPN as the No. 43 player in the 2019 class.

Nnaji chose Louisville over offers from Arizona, UCLA, Kansas, and many others.

In his 247Sports crystal ball predictions, all 14 experts who have made a prediction believe that Nnaji will ultimately choose Louisville.

Nnaji joins Samuell Williamson as the only two commitments in Louisville’s 2019 recruiting class so far.

Louisville lands 4-star point guard Tyrese Haliburton

The Louisville Cardinals have landed a big fish in the recruiting world, as 4-star point guard Tyrese Haliburton has committed to play for the school.

The Louisville Cardinals have received a commitment from 4-star shooting guard Samuell Williamson, according to a report from ESPN.

Williamson, who is from Rockwall, Texas, chose Louisville over offers from Baylor, Kansas, Texas and others. He is ranked as the No. 33 player in the ESPN 100 for the Class of 2018.

At 6-foot-6 and 190 pounds, Williamson is a slashing wing who can also shoot from long range. He joins point guard Immanuel Quickley as the two commitments in Louisville’s 2018 recruiting class so far.

3-star center Enoch Boakye commits to Louisville

Four-star point guard David Johnson has committed to Louisville, giving the Cardinals one of the top backcourts in the country for the 2019-20 season

Johnson, who is from Detroit, is the No. 34 player in the ESPN 100 for the 2019 class. He joins a recruiting class that includes five-star wings Samuell Williamson and Josh Nickelberry, as well as four-star big man Aidan Igiehon.

With Johnson in the fold, Louisville now has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country according to ESPN.

3-star power forward Aidan Igiehon commits to Louisville

Louisville got a big commitment Saturday when 3-star power forward Aidan Igiehon pledged to the Cardinals.

Igiehon, a 6-foot-10, 220-pounder from Lawrence Woodmere Academy in New York, is ranked as the No. 103 player in the Class of 2018 by the 247Sports Composite. He also held offers from Oregon, St. John’s, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech and others.

Igiehon took an official visit to Louisville last weekend and gave the Cardinals a verbal commitment Saturday morning. He joins 5-star point guard Anfernee Simons 4-star small forward Nate Robinson and 3-star shooting guard Courtney Ramey in Louisville’s 2018 recruiting class

Cole Anthony a 6-foot-2 point guard from New York, is the latest top recruit to commit to Louisville. Anthony is the No. 2 point guard and the No. 7 player overall in the 2019 class, according to ESPN.

Louisville now has three ESPN 100 recruits in its 2019 class, which is ranked No. 1 in the country. Anthony joins wing Samuell Williamson and center Aidan Igiehon as five-star commits in Louisville’s 2019 class.
