After the war, Lowell continued to be a force in local basketball The team won another championship in 1922, and reached the semifinals of the National Tournament in 1923. In 1924, Lowell once again won a championship, this time defeating a team from New York City in the finals.

The 1920s were a decade of dominance for Lowell basketball. The team won eight championships in ten years, including five straight from 1926 to 1930. During this time, Lowell also became one of the first schools to offer scholarships to players, helping to attract some of the best talent in the country to play for the team.

Lowell’s success on the court culminated with a victory in the 1931 National Championship game. The win made Lowell one of the first schools west of the Mississippi River to win a national title in basketball.
