The Averett Men’s basketball team is the National Champion! This is their first time winning the title, and they are the first team in school history to win a National Championship in any sport. The team finished the season with a record of 33-1, and they defeated defending champion Hartwick in the final game

In an intense and hard fought game, the Averett Men’s Basketball team emerged victorious, defeating their opponent in the National Championship This is the first time in school history that the team has won this prestigious title, and they are sure to enjoy a long celebration. The game was close throughout, but Averett’s superior skills and teamwork ultimately won out. Congratulations to the team on their amazing accomplishment!
