As the weather starts to warm up, everyone’s thoughts turn to baseball – and the Marist Baseball schedule is no different. Here is a closer look at what the Red Foxes have in store for the 2017 season.

Marist will open their season on February 17th, with a three-game series at home against Niagara. The Red Foxes will then hit the road for a four-game series at Rider from February 24-26. Marist will return home for a three-game set against Monmouth from March 3-5, before heading back out on the road for five games in Florida over spring break. The Red Foxes will take on Stetson (March 10-12), Bethune-Cookman (March 14), and Jacksonville (March 17-19).

After Florida, Marist will return home for eight straight games, starting with a three-game series against Manhattan from March 24-26. The Red Foxes will then host Siena for four games from March 31-April 2. Following that, Marist will have another three game series at home, this time against Quinnipiac from April 7-9.

The next six games on the schedule are all away from Poughkeepsie, as Marist travels to face Fairfield (April 14), Iona (April 16), Army (April 20), Lafayette (April 21), and Sacred Heart (April 28-29).

The final home stand of the season will take place from May 5-7, as Canisius comes to town for three games. From there, Marist closes out their regular season with six straight road games, against MAAC opponents Rider (May 12), Niagara (May 13), Monmouth (May 18-20), and Siena (May 25-27).

The Aac Tournament will take place from May 31-June 4 at FirstEnergy Park in Bridgewater, NJ. The top four seeds in the tournament will receive a first round bye, with seeds 5 through 8 playing in a best of three series to decide who advances to face the top seeds.
