The Mercer Baseball Camp curriculum

The Mercer Baseball Camp curriculum is designed to help young athletes improve their skills and understanding of the game. Our experienced and certified coaches will work with campers of all ages to improve hitting, pitching, fielding, and base-running. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in daily scrimmages and games, giving them the opportunity to put their new skills into action.

The experienced and qualified staff at Mercer Baseball Camp

The experienced and qualified staff at Mercer Baseball Camp is committed to providing each camper with the opportunity to develop his baseball skills Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment while teaching the fundamentals of the game.

We offer two different types of camps: our Developmental Camp and our Pitching/Hitting Camp. The Developmental Camp is for players ages 7-12 and focuses on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, Base running and pitching. The Pitching/Hitting Camp is for players ages 13-18 and focuses on advanced techniques in pitching and hitting.

Each camp is directed by Mercer University Head baseball coach Craig Gibson and his staff. In addition to the excellent instruction provided by the Mercer Coaching Staff campers will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art facilities, including a Full Size baseball field four batting cages, a weight room, and four indoor hitting tunnels.

To ensure that each camper receives personal attention, we limit our camp enrollment. Our Developmental Camp is limited to 60 campers per session and our Pitching/Hitting Camp is limited to 30 campers per session.
