Michael Hunt’s top baseball Teams
Michael Hunt is a baseball writer for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In his most recent column, he ranks the top five baseball teams in terms of their chances to make the playoffs.
1. The Milwaukee Brewers are Hunt’s top-ranked team, as they boast a strong lineup led by MVP candidate Christian Yelich They also have a deep pitching staff that should be able to carry them through the playoffs.
2. The Houston Astros are another team with a strong lineup and deep pitching staff. They are the defending World Series champions, and they have the experience to make another run at the title this year.
3. The Boston Red Sox are another team with a strong lineup, but their pitching staff is not as deep as the Brewers or Astros. They will need to rely on their offense to carry them through the playoffs.
4. The New York Yankees are a team with a lot of star power, but they have been inconsistent this year. If they can get hot at the right time, they could make a run at the playoffs, but they will need to play their best baseball to do so.
5. The Cleveland Indians are a bit of a dark horse in Hunt’s rankings. They don’t have the same kind of star power as some of the other teams on this list, but they have been one of the most consistent teams in baseball this year.
